Real use case: catches stale docs, spec/code mismatch, orphaned assets, and convention violations across a repository — born from maintaining multilingual doc sets that silently drifted from the code.
Tested: runs as a Claude Code plugin (/plugin install upkeep@upkeep), via npx skills add wei18/upkeep --skill upkeep-audit (works with Cursor, Copilot, and other agents), as a plain script, and as a scheduled GitHub Actions reusable workflow. Validated with claude plugin validate and exercised end-to-end (130 unit/contract/e2e tests in the repo).
Safe: strictly output-only — it reports drift with evidence and severity but never edits or deletes files in the audited repo.
Documented: README in 5 languages (en, zh-TW, zh-CN, ja, ko) with install, usage, configuration, and a full design reference.
No duplicates: checked the existing list — no whole-repo semantic drift auditor is present.
