• first-skill-template — scaffolds new skills at .claude/skills/<name>/SKILL.md in a canonical body pattern.

Real-world use case: sits alongside solo-skills in this section. Used to take rough founder/consulting briefs to a structured next-action list in a single Claude Code session. Part of the broader Knack catalogue.

Verifiable: the repo is public at https://github.com/knack-run/knack-starter-pack with an installer (./install.sh), a worked example, MIT licence, and SKILL.md frontmatter. No network calls beyond the install script. No telemetry.
