Summary

Adds Claude Desktop as a third option under the Claude section on the Install page, with two auth method tabs:

Pro Plan (OAuth): Uses Claude Desktop's Connectors feature to add the Composio MCP URL (same flow as Claude Cowork, for Pro/Max plan users)
Free Plan (API Key): Uses npx mcp-remote@latest in claude_desktop_config.json for free-tier users

The existing "Claude Cowork" entry was renamed from id: "claude-desktop" → id: "claude-cowork" so the new Claude Desktop entry could take the claude-desktop ID. References in client-showcase.tsx and client-grid.tsx were updated accordingly.

Review & Testing Checklist for Human

Breaking URL change: The claude-desktop ID now points to the new Claude Desktop (with tabs), not Claude Cowork. Any existing bookmarks or shared links to /connect/clients/claude-desktop will show a different page. Verify this is acceptable.
Pro Plan vs Claude Cowork overlap: The Pro Plan steps for the new Claude Desktop are very similar to the existing Claude Cowork OAuth steps. Confirm the intent is to have both as separate tiles, or if Claude Cowork should be removed/merged.
Free Plan config JSON: Verify the x-consumer-api-key:${token} header format in the mcp-remote args is correct for the Composio MCP server.
Visual check: Navigate to the Install page and confirm the Claude section shows all 3 tiles (Claude Cowork, Claude Code, Claude Desktop) with consistent sizing. Confirm Pro/Free tabs render correctly on the Claude Desktop detail page.

Notes

Could not run pnpm lint / pnpm typecheck locally due to missing NPM_TOKEN for the private @composio/lib package. Relying on CI for lint/type verification.
The tab switching is handled automatically by the existing instruction-page.tsx which renders tabs when authMethods.length > 1.

'Claude Desktop needs pro and free version both (current steps are for pro)' (DASH-354)

User instruction: @devin Hey, if you check the screenshot, we have Claude Cowork and Claude Code, and we also need Claude Desktop as a third option. If you check MCP Consumer Depot, there is a way for free and pro versions both. We can show them as tabs in the same format as the other instructions are. You can check them out, and this is where Composio_dashboard happens. Make sure the design is still consistent and doesn't go outside of. I think we can reduce the gap between Claude code and actually, if needed, if we can just remove the setup composer with a national language prompt in open folder, that will just adjust the design, maybe. Yeah, the tiles should match of sorts.
