Description

Weekly automated CLAUDE.md refresh. Updates stale CLAUDE.md files to reflect recent codebase changes so AI agents have accurate context.

Files updated this run:

CLAUDE.md (root): 205 → 198 lines. Removed stale references to apps/frontend/ and apps/design-system/ (no longer in this repo), added missing packages/embeddings/ and packages/trigger-config/ to the package index, noted the default branch is master, surfaced the BYPASS_BUN_VERSION_CHECK=1 gotcha, and replaced the boilerplate "Core Principles" section with a tighter "Core Conventions" block (Result types, dbUtils pattern, branded IDs, zen/* branch naming).
packages/types/CLAUDE.md: 161 → 167 lines. Added missing branded ID types (LinkToken / lk_*, WebhookSubscriptionNanoId / ws_*, BotId UUID brand for clanker/bot users from #9586), refreshed the "Used by" section (removed nonexistent apps/frontend, added packages/db consumer).
packages/embeddings/CLAUDE.md: 259 → 245 lines. Documented the sidecar fields added to TOOL_SCHEMA in #9809 (use_case, tool_slug, display_name, description, toolkit_description, related_tools_json) and the RelatedToolSchema / ToolSchemaSidecar payload shapes.
apps/apollo/CLAUDE.md: 317 → 109 lines. Rewrote for current state: surfaced the v3.1/ namespace as the active landing zone (billing endpoints, Metronome webhook ingress, consumer permissions resolve), documented the no-new-v3-endpoints lint rule that freezes v3, added the lib/metering/ + lib/billing/ + premium tool-call fanout (#9933, #9975, #9992, #9973), shared-accounts creator-gated remove (#9954), I/O-free proxy.ts routing middleware lint rule (#9949), and removed the duplicated src/lib/ content that lives in the (already-current) child apps/apollo/src/lib/CLAUDE.md.

Skipped because no material drift OR child file is authoritative:

apps/thermos/CLAUDE.md — already very detailed (497L) and recently maintained; the 10 commits since cover metric naming, timeout bumps, and timer-shard pipeline metrics that are already at the documented level of abstraction (or live in the child workers/ / ent/workerdb/ docs).
apps/apollo/src/lib/composio_actions/actions/toolRouter/CLAUDE.md — file map + pipeline reference is still accurate; the 17 commits' behavior (slug suggestions, S3 offload, sidecar reads, shared-account meta-tool surfacing) are documented in the parent apps/apollo/src/lib/CLAUDE.md (which is current as of 2026-05-18).
apps/apollo/src/lib/CLAUDE.md, apps/apollo/src/lib/sandbox/CLAUDE.md, apps/apollo/src/lib/better_auth/CLAUDE.md, apps/apollo/src/lib/metering/CLAUDE.md, apps/apollo/src/pages/api/CLAUDE.md, wrangler/file-upload-relay/CLAUDE.md — touched on master ≤24h ago by upstream doc-refresh PRs; zero net churn since.
packages/db/CLAUDE.md, packages/lib/CLAUDE.md, packages/auth-config/CLAUDE.md, apps/thermos/ent/CLAUDE.md, apps/thermos/handlers/CLAUDE.md — small commit counts since last update (≤6) covering changes the doc doesn't index at this level.

How did I test this PR

Each updated CLAUDE.md is within its size tier (root 198L; package files 167L / 245L; app top-level 109L).
Spot-checked claims against the live repo:
- ls apps/ confirms only apollo/ retool/ thermos/
- ls apps/apollo/src/pages/api/v3.1/billing/ confirms the seven billing endpoints (contract.ts, invoices.ts, payment_method.ts, subscription.ts, usage_schemas.ts, usage/summary.ts, usage/[entity_type].ts)
- grep no-new-v3-endpoints apps/apollo/oxlint-rules/ confirms the lint rule exists

Diffed each updated file against its last-touched commit to make sure all material changes since then are reflected, and that nothing accurate was deleted.

Cron status update — `cron-update-claude-docs` (week 2)

This PR was rebased onto current origin/master today and gained one new content edit: rewrite of apps/apollo/CLAUDE.md (317L → 109L) to reflect the v3.1/ namespace + billing endpoints, lib/metering/ premium tool-call fanout, lib/billing/ read-only Stripe/Metronome helpers, shared-accounts changes, no-new-v3-endpoints lint rule, and I/O-free proxy.ts middleware. Removed content that already lives in the child apps/apollo/src/lib/CLAUDE.md. The other 3 files in the PR (root, packages/types, packages/embeddings) had zero new churn since the PR's base, so were left untouched. State: MERGEABLE.

CI (latest run on 28548c14): ✅ All 28 checks green (lint-apollo, lint-thermos, vitest, thermos tests, Apollo Integration Tests with Thermos - both Core Platform and Tool Router, all reusable workflow legs, Analyze go/python/JS-TS/actions).

Post-PR follow-up:

/build-checks: ran by CI (lint-apollo, lint-thermos, multiple vitest workflows) — all green.
/codex-review-loop: skipped — doc-only meta-documentation; subagent verified the rewrite against current apps/apollo/src/ source.
